Got my newest toy out to the range!

Finally took this one out to the range, did pretty well, I think, given that it was my 1st experience with a big .45:

15 yards, offhand. Those GI sites are tiny, though! If I ever do refinish this one, some new irons will probably be on the list!

Will have to trim the hammer just a skosh, though, it bit me pretty good. The only two malfunctions I had were do to some wimpy gripping, trying to get a lower hold on the gun to avoid that hammer! Other than that, it ate Winchester SXT FMJ's and Remington HTP JHP's equally well.
 
It's a Ballester Molina, wanted to try out my C&R license. Barrel is definitely...vintage, rifling at the throat is worn, and there's some frosting/pitting. Groups started to open up at the end of the 2nd box of ammo, due to the fouling, I'm guessing. May get a drop-in GI barrel at some point.
