I ordered a blemished Taurus TCP from Kentucky Gun Co. in SS and black. When I opened the box at my FFL, the TCP was black slide and pink grip. Doh! Well that is going back. I admit, it wasn't horrible though :)

However, after owning four P3ATs (purchased over the LCP), I have to say the TCP trigger is double the trigger on the P3AT or LCP (gen two included).

I also picked up a DB9. I hope it works out. It is the same size as the .380s. It is significantly more comfortable than my previous CM9.

More comfortable than a CM9? A DB9?
Are we talking about the same pistols here?

Oy, ok... um, I guess we all have our preferences... wait, you're human, right?

Just kidding. Seriously, I find the CM9 superior in every conceivable way except perhaps ease of concealment. I'm thinking perhaps by "more comfortable" that you're talking about concealment. IMO, the CM9 is so much nicer in the hand and even nicer to actually shoot.

Have to agree with Snowdog; I tried a number of different sub-compact 9s and found that the CM9 had the best overall handling, ergonomics, and features over anything else out there. Hope the DB9 works out okay for you.

I mean to say, the DB9 is light years ahead in comfort in the pocket. Being less heavy, I do imagine the sting will be more.

But if anyone is considering a .380, defiantly try the TCP. That trigger is nice.

I've been wanting to try a TCP for some time..seems like a quality little gun.

I thought you weren't going to buy a DB9 - you said you thought the company was crumbling and all that...

They're going for $199.00 so they are pretty tempting. You can shoot 100gr Hornady Critical Defense Lite or 105gr Federal Guard Dog out of the DB9 which is a little easier to shoot. Its like 380 ACP +P+ or 380 Super or 380 Magnum or whatever... :)

I say that because I'm thinking maybe the DB9s will hold up better shooting lower-powered ammo?

I like the 738 concept and went with it in another direction.

I now own 2 Taurus 732s in....... .32ACP. These hide a bit better than the 738 and the recoil and gun are a bit more user friendly. Now if they would just have added more usable sights. :)

732s are a used gun only prospect now.

The OP is right. The TCP trigger beats the LCP, Bodyguard, and P3AT trigger. Beats the DB380 trigger too, but admittedly, I have not tried the CM380.
