Got some black talons. And a box of KOPP soft point 7.62x39 between to trades that I did today. Ignore the wolf and the WPA. Im going to save the Black talons, Those things get more an more expensive as they go... But does anyone know anything about the KOPP stuff? box has a date of 1996. I think theyre cool! But should I save them as novelty ammo? or fire away. Note, if you can see the price tag it says 2.95... ahhhh the good old days.

These are really instant ammo package and you will have more supplies of ammo for a long time. And yes, it is a good idea to save Black talons for other important purposes.

uhh...

I'd shoot it. As for the Black Talons, find a collector. It wasn't that good when it was new and it won't improve with age.... ;)

hard to find the cheap soft point surplus ammo at gun shows anymore.

I think you mean "imported" and not "surplus" I've never seen any surplus ammo produced with soft point projectiles, only FMJ. The hollow points and soft points are produced strictly for commercial sales, not military use, hence they aren't "surplus"
