The other revolver thread that mentioned Chiggs Grips has me check out Chad’s site. I ordered a set of walnut burl grips for a soon-to-be shot and reviewed .44 Spl. Blackhawk, along with a set of dogwood burl panels for the Super Redhawk .454.

These are the first custom grips/panels I’ve ever bought, the only others have been the good old Hogue/Pachmayr mass produced grips, some thumbrest grips for my MK target pistols or two sets of Altamonts for my other Ruger single action rimfires.

Chad did a great job on them, they popped right in and I think they look pretty cool and feel great. These sort of have me looking at some other custom grips for my Colt Officers Model Heavy Barrel and my K-frame rimfires.

Once I get a chance to shoot the Blackhawk I’ll post a review about it.

Stay safe.
