Got to burn some BP Thursday night

Son-in-law and I went to H&H in OKC to do some serious work, breaking in new guns (his Kahr K-45 and Diamondback .380 and my wife's LCR with Crimson Trace grips). Anyway when we got through with that boring :D stuff, out came the '60, '51, and Baby Remington. First shot with the '60 and everyone else in the bay did the obligatory "WHAT WAS THAT?". I let some of the other folks shoot them, they all handed it back with the biggest grins they'd had all night. Heard, "Gotta get me one of them" more than once.

i had been reading and studying all things BP for a while then last year at friendship they have it set up where you can take a shot with a smokepole, i took my shot turned around and my friend (whos been shooting BP since '74) was all smiling, he knew i was hooked!
Nice of you to let people run 'em! even if it makes you a pusherman:D

Too close for comfort Friday night. The big tornado was dead east on I-40 for a long way. Finally turned to the SE for awhile, then back NE before it lifted.

We were driving around in it. First report said it was moving NE toward Piedmont, where my daughter and family live. We left and went south about 10 miles to I-40, then turned east. Radio said storm was moving straight east down 40, so when we got to I-35 we turned south to get out of the path. Hadn't even made it to the first overpass when the radio said the storm turned to the SE and would be crossing I-35. So we flipflopped and went back north all the way to Edmond, then back to daughter's house.

Without the radio telling us where the tornado was it would have been VERY scary because we couldn't see anything. The entire sky was just green, with no cloud structure visible, so we had no visual idea where the storm might have been.

Next time I go to OKC and to H&H if any womenfolks are working, I'll tell her you said hi.
