Well my boss at the gun shop got over 100 guns from the Baltimore County Police Department tonight.

They were all taken from someone who was convicted of selling AK-47's and "other" guns out the back door of a now defunct gun shop. He went to jail (now is out  after less then 2 years)

So as we are checking in the guns we notice this M1 Carbine has a selector switch on it. We take the gun apart and sure enough it has an M2 trigger assembly in it.

Well who are we to let this get away w/o shooting it! We grab some 15 rd mags we have laying around (god i wish we had some 30's) then head out to the range.

Well after 200 rds of 30 Carbine fun we called the Gun Squad that we just got the guns from and had them come out and pick up the gun :(

We are hoping they will be able to put it on Form 5 then transfer it back to us as a rental gun :D. That was one easy little gun to shoot! I was surprised how little climb it had.

If it's not already registered the PD will have to register it on a form 10, which means nobody besides law enforcement can have it, not even dealers.

'Ya gotta keep the traps shut yall!

'Member that guy who found those M2 MGs? I wouldn't have told anyone, not even a close friend. He just had to spill the cookies and cream :what:

I would have removed the selector switch, changed out the lever arm actuator with an M1 pin, and removed the other non-necessary parts (the little button and spring and dissconnect) and kept the M1. No need in returning an M1 that was easily returned to a legal configuration.
