grab bag puzzle of the week, stripper clips and guide

I picked up a grab bag of stuff at the LGS yesterday. Mixed in a bunch of 5.56 stripper clips and guides were these unknown stripper clips and a guide of some sort. As you can see, they are not quite long enough for 10 rounds of 5.56 and the rounds do not quite fit right and are too loose. The guide does not fit a standard GI mag nor the Mini-14 mag next to it in the second picture. As for the guide, neither the unknown strippers or a GI stripper fit into it.

I have exhausted all my google-fu on it and have resorted to the "collective."

Sooo...What did I end up with?

FWIW, I 'think" that's a charger and stripper clips for an M1 Carbine.

Those are M1 carbine items.

The strippers are for the Czech VZ-24 submachinegun, each holds 8rds of 7.62x25. Note the bxn stamp, that was the factory code for Sellier & Bellot.

OK, I think the winners are 7.62x25 strippers and a guide for M1 Carbine. The pictures match on the internet. Now I need to hook up with owners of each to confirm it.

m1 carbine stripper clips and guides are usually attached to each other. each stripper clip has its own guide (spoon) built onto it. if it is an m1 carbine guide, then someone ripped the stripper clip off of it.
