Graf's Lately?

Anybody received any powder or primers from Graf's lately? I've had an order in (on backorder) since early October. Called the other day and was told they're filling orders from last May right now. Nothin' to do but wait, I guess.

Got a flyer from them today, said Wolf primers were in stock - haven't looked today, but they were flat out a couple of days ago.

NOOOOO!!!!, then I'd have to go to the back of the line. That's one nice thing about Graf's. They'll let your order sit for months waiting to be filled. First in, first out. They don't charge your card till your order ships though.

Maj Dad, I'm a CCI primer snob. Others may be fine, but CCI is what I've always used and I've been pleased with them. If the supply doesn't loosen up though, I may have to change my tune.....

Ordered 150,000 primers CCI factory direct in June 2009. Still haven't gotten them. Was told 12 weeks.

Despite freakshow depleting the internet primer supply, I've been able to find CCI small rifle at my local gunshop, $34/1000, bought 5K.

Ordered 5k LPP from Midsouth April 2009, got the email last week saying they were in. Like Grafs and Powder Valley, Midsouth does not hit your credit card until they ship

I canceled my CCI order with them recently (ordered Aug 09). A local shop can get CCI primers in about 10 days, so I just pay $36-$39 per 1000 locally. Actually, my local shop is CHEAPER on some brass and bullets than I can mail order them. I'm also supporting local and small business.

I ordered 5000 LP, 5000 SP, 5000 LR, and 5000 SR CCI primers in September or October. They called me in December and had everything in my order excpet the CCI LP and LR. They did have Wolf LP, but no LR of any sort. I told them to forget about the LR and paid $20 more and got the Wolf LP primers. Still a great value. It is tricky because you want everything in your order, but it does not always come in at the same time and you do not know how long it will be.

I got 3k of SP and 1K LR of Wolf from Wideners a little while ago.

Go figure, I buy my reloading setup October of 2008. When I get around to starting after reading a ton of information, all the primers went bye bye!

I really think it depends on WHICH components you order. I ordered 5k of Remington 7 1/2 SRP from Grafs back in mid January- I was shocked that they shipped them out in less than a week.

If you want CCI, expect a LONG wait- try to order something other than CCI (and now maybe even Wolf) and you might get them sooner.

I ordered 5K Wolf SP primers, 2K Wolf SR primers, 2K Wolf SR Magnum primers, and 2 lbs. of VV powder about two weeks ago from Graf's. Had them on my doorstep about 4 days later.

Wolf primers seem to be plentiful, with Rem and Win primers popping up on occasion. I haven't seen CCI primers for a loooooong time.
