Grandmothers get robbed, start gun group


This is pretty cool. Two grandmothers who were tired of being crime victims so they decided to start a group called "Women Armed and Ready", or "WAR." In addition to a chapter in Indiana, there are two chapters near Cincinnati.

"(Our main objective is) to get women trained and where, if they have to ... they would be able to react and save themselves. Or at least make a very valiant attempt to save themselves," Couch said. The three main goals of the group: education, training and competence."

This one sounds like it has grass roots support. I glad they're getting some formalized training.
 
Oh no people are taking responsibility for their own protection and lives. This will get certain sects of the liberals screaming genocide.
 
Good for them. I wish there was a womens group like this around here. I would encourage my wife to attend.

FYI - She's the lady in the church in Southern Illinois who, along with another lady in her 80s was beaten up and robbed by a recent parolee.
