I finally got 500 rounds through my RIA GI 1911 with only one FTRTB at the 50 round point. I fed it two types of ball ammo today and hollow points. All fed and fired fine. This is my new carry piece. My other is a Ruger SP101 .357 with a 2.25" barrel. I'm sending it to Gemini Customs this week for an action job and dehorned.

I recently was bitten by the .380 bug and went to purchase a S&W Walther PPK/S from a local gunsmith, but the .380 sold before I got there. I purchased a Ruger LCP instead. Well, another Walther PPK/S came in a couple days later, so now I have a LCP and PPK/S. I fired Winchester White Box, PMC, and Hornady Defense (50 rounds each) through both handguns and not one single problem. The LCP is a beast, but easily fits in your pocket. The PPK/S is very nice to shoot, but is slightly too big to fit in my pocket. I had to regrip the LCP after each shot and my hand hurt after 50 rounds. I know many bash the .380, but for close-up (10-20 meters) use, I was more than impressed.

I was skeptical about the PPK/S, because of some of the reviews, but my PPK/S is fit and finished extremely well. There isn't much to say about the LCP - it's black, plastic, and works.
