Hopefully most of you are familiar with David Kopel. He testified in the judiciary hearings on gun violence recently, authored many good books, including the recent excellent book "No More Wacos: What's Wrong with Federal Law Enforcement and How to Fix It"; I think he published the first casebook on the second amendment and is an NRA-certified instructor. In short, he knows his stuff on constitutional law, and is recognized as an authority on both sides of the aisle.
Anyway, read this letter he recently submitted to the judiciary committee. My apologies if it's been posted already, but I didn't see any recent threads on it.
