From GunBroker's fraud insurance page...

While fraud is virtually non-existent at GunBroker.com, our Fraud Insurance Program gives you as the bidder the peace of mind to bid and buy with confidence. Our Fraud Insurance covers two specific forms of fraud:

1. You pay for an item and never receiving it, or
2. The item you receive is materially different that its description, such as winning a stainless steel pistol and receiving a blued one instead.
You will definitely be able to file a claim under #2 if it works.

I wonder what the high bidder's maximum bid is...

That is hilarious. It is nice to start the day with a laugh. The whole "not really a problem, though, if you’re used to slowly firing and loading muzzle loaders," line is very funny.

I'm tempted to buy it. I'd take it to a bad part of town and leave it on the front seat of my vehicle with the the window down. Hopefully, some wet brain with baggy pants would take it. It would help cut down on crime. If the junior banger tried to use it on his homey it might help clean up the gene pool.
I had the same idea. I think my FFL knows just the person who needs it. FFL told me that awhile back two gangsta types came in and wanted to buy a box of 9mm ammo. They didn't know from bullet weight, or FMJ vs hollow-point ... they wanted 9mm. So he sold them a box of some cheap 9mm FMJ. Then the spokesgansta asked him to show him how to load the "clip." So the FFL drops the mag, and as he held the cartridge up to the magazine he said something just didn't look right.

So he picked up the pistol, turned it over, and on the barrel he sees "8mm blank."

Yeah -- our hero paid top black market, street corner prices for a genuine 8mm movie prop pistol. He REALLY needs this gun ... it's the real deal.

We should email the guy and invite him here to THR. Sometimes we could really use a lighthearted soul like him......
