Please give it up. No where in your post did you specify you were buying IN STATE, which is the only way your purchases would have been legal. Jim rightly pointed this out and did not take you out of context.
 
No where in my post did I specify I was not buying IN STATE either. But I did mention that "I brought cash", I don't know many people who drive across state lines to make cash purchases.

Also Gator, Jim March never mentioned anything about IN STATE or out of state sales in either of his posts.

What Jim did mention was, that some states regulate (forbid) the private sale of firearms and that my 'advice' was wrong.

I was admittedly unaware that states regulated the private sale of firearms and mentioned that in my second post. None the less, it has been completely my personal experience that the private sale of firearms is unregulated.

So, if that is "wrong advice", string up the rope I'm guilty as charged.

/jimmy crickets, is my post count not high enough or something?
 
Albatross, when you give what looks like legal advice that could get a minimum of 1/9th of the US population jailed on felony charges, we take notice.

Don't give legal advice unless you know what you're talking about. The stakes are too high.
 
I chuckled at a Craigslist ad that stated:

That is hilarious.

You watch though, an automatic word flagging program will probably be put in place. Anything with the word 'Remington' will be deleted, etc.

Ohhhhh .. its a bar-b-que.. of course. I wasn't actually sure what that was.. hehe.

Anyway , since this was posted here I decided to try something similar on the local area craiglist listings. I don't want to point out my ads because we all know some antis troll this forum now and then, and I'd really like to see how long the ads can go on their own merit. So far they haven't been flagged though. One of them was very similar to the original posted here , and the other one was for a "Berryetta LI22 Neos small game hunting bow" with a .22lr Draw length, and a 6" bar, red dot aiming system , and 3 "arrow" holders. I've had one inquiry about the .22 so far.
