A month or so back I wanted to try some of the 62gr Federal Fusions RMR had on their web site but I didn't really want 1000. I contacted Jake and he was kind enough to put lots of 500 up on the web site for me.
Ordered some and they arrived promptly.
I didn't check them real close after receiving them and tossed them in the closet for later.
Pulled them out to load and they were FMJs. I sent Jake and email and he got back to me right away saying they would double check to see what happened. On checking it looks like they made a honest mistake and sent the wrong thing. They shipped the Fusions out to me and said to Keep the other 500 FMJs for the trouble. NICE! Free bullets
Turns out it was some new people in the shipping Dept, and like I mentioned earlier stuff happens. Jake and RMR went out of their way to make it right for me. No hassle no problems getting it corrected even though it had been a while since I ordered. It sure is nice to know there are companies out there who care about their customers and Rocky Mountain Reloading is definitely one of them.
So since I now have 500 FREE 62gr .223 FMJs (I can't tell you how upset this makes me, now I have to go buy some more powder and primers for .223 )I will but up some in BDS PIF thread for someone else to try as well.
I have always been happy with RMR and would recommend them to anyone looking for bullets.
I really like the hard core 124gr 9mm FN and the 230 .45 RN they sell, these have become my favorite bullets for these two calibers.
I wanted to post this not to complain about the mistake but to praise RMR for their efforts to make it more than right.
Just good people to do business with.
