Well, considering the video is three years old and has been posted several times, I thought I would clarify that it wasn't a new video.

That way the people who had seen it could skip it and the folks who hadn't could watch it if they so desired.

Nope, he was just stating a fact. The same thing that other mods here would do for stuff that have been posted many times.

Not crass at all. But even if it was, it can be annoying when someone posts a lone link to a video without any description - let alone a video that (as mentioned) had made the rounds many times here in the past. If Jorg was a bit short in his reply, I can understand why.

It's funny, if you make a new thread about something, there is always a group of people that b!tch about how this has been covered, use the search bar, etc. etc. But if you post on an old thread, there is a separate group of people that b!tch about bringing up an old thread. Sometimes you just can win. And then there are the moderator groupies.... lol just kidding

papa - both of those things are easily prevented. When dupes are posted, or threads necromanced, it's annoying. All the mods here are volunteers, and I'm sure it gets tiring dealing with the same kind of issues over and over again.

It's nothing personal - just something that pops up from time to time and which tries people's nerves.
