I apologize if this is old news. I don't usually pass videos on but my brother-in-law who lives in Neftenbach, Switzerland sent me this video today. The fact that the Swiss government requires firearm ownership and provides ammunition to the population illustrates the extent to which Swiss and US government agendas are diametrically opposed. The US government considers firearms and firearms owners to be a bane on "civilized" society whereas the Swiss consider an armed populace to be an asset.

Well worth the five minutes it takes to watch and the range is very interesting.

:)

Unfortunately, not all Swiss politicians feel that way. And they do have some funny restrictions on ammunition, but I do agree that their attitude toward gun owners is better than our government's.

Edit: Oh and they aren't allowed to carry, unless on official business of some kind.

Good video, thanks for sharing. The sound deadening tunnels were a pretty cool feature at the range, and they gave them FREE AMMO (paid for my the govt.)! FWIW: it was only a little over 3mins, definitely worth the time.

:)
