I have a couple of S&W K frame revolvers, M67 & M10, and a Ruger GP-100. I'm probably going to switch to Pachmayr presentation grips for the M67, haven't decided on the GP-100. The M10 has a set of laminated wood grips that are very uncomfortable to use. I'm certain they aren't the originals.

I could order the service grips from S&W, but I was hoping for something a little larger, possibly with finger grooves. I won't be shooting this gun much, but I would like to have a more comfortable set of grips when I do, and I don't want to change them out all the time. The gun looks much better with wood grips, so rubber is out.

Can anyone make recommendations on a brand or manufacturer? I've seen all the stuff in the Hogue's catalog and it's not doing it for me. There's several online retailers, but without seeing their product up close, I don't know if I'd like it or not.

TIA, jmm

I've got several houge grips. I like them all(or I wouldn't have bought them I guess :D ). If they aren't what you are looking for, Consider this a BBT for one more go-round.

I personally like Service grips and Tyler T grips.

Much thanks on the links. I went with this series of Eagle grips.

Lots of other interesting choices, though.

Good luck.

I've had miserable luck with out of the box Eagle grips. Both sets of Heritage grips I purchased trying to get a set for my 2" M15 need a LOT of work to fit properly. To the point that I returned the first set and sold the replacements they sent me to a forum member better prepared for a lot of wood working. In the end, I went with Altamont traditional panels and a T-Grip. The Altamonts went on as is.

The Eagle Secret Service grips I got for my M36 were the same way. Paid more for some Spegel boot grips and they were perfect.

I've seen nice sets on other folks pistols, but I know I'm not the first to have fit issues.

Thanks for the grip tip. ;)

This will probably be one of the few revolvers on which I spend as much on grips. Everything else I have is a shooter, and will have more functional, less expensive grips (i.e. Pachmayr or Hogue). I don't mind doing a bit of finish work on the revolvers, so it's OK if it's a little off. I'll post a pic when it's all done.
