Hello all, I have a Taurus 445 here and I absolutely love it, it's my main fall/winter carry. Problem is I've grown tired of the "ribber" grips and looking for a decent set of wood, I think the frame is the same as a full size judge but haven't been able to compare.

I have two requests, one is that if anyone has a judge you can take your grips off of and take a pic for me that would be fantastic, and two is does anyone know where I can get grips already for it? Or maybe somewhere that does custom grips for a reasonable price?
I know custom won't be cheap but reasonable is 150 or less to me, I'm sure someone somewhere can fill that role.

Thanks for the help anyone, have a good day

You would have to send the gun to someone to make custom Wood grips for it, unless they already manufacture a line of grips for that model.
Have you thought about trying to make the wood grips yourself ?

Your sort of out of luck on that. Guns in that series, like the tracker series, do not have aftermarket wood grips available from anyone that I have ever found. I have heard things are that way because dimensions vary to much from from gun to gun to get a good fit without custom making the grips to each gun but I have no first hand experience with that one way or another. Hogue does make a different kind of rubber grip, but that is about your only option as far as I know.

I guess hogue is better than what I have now, I just wanted some nice wood as it would really bring the gun out if you know what I mean, anyone have a link to the hogue grips made for it?

Gliter ? Look at Hogue wood grips?? How much nicer are you looking for they make some darn nice wood grips. It did only take a minutes search to find them. Search for your self.
