This message “CAUTION: CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED” on the side of S&W pistols always drove me nuts, I polished it off of the slide on my first SW1911.

Could care less what it says on the grip. When I picked one up for the 1st time it was the best feeling poly pistol I had ever held and shot it better than my PPQ. Now my PPQs and other poly pistols gone and own the XDS, XD SC & XD service in both 9 & 45 all in mod 2 version. Of course the XDS’ don’t say Grip Zone though.
