Gripping a Model 10

Way back when Bill Jordan wrote his "No Second Place Winner" book, he observed that stock S&W grips were dreadful.
He designed the "Jordan Trooper" grips which were then produced by Herrets.

I had a pair on my duty M19 for many years, and loved 'em. Superb for fast double-action shooting.

The one I looked at has the look of a collector piece more than a shooter. Priced like it, too. But this thread has convinced me not to give up on the Model 10 in general. One of these days I'll find a nice shooter at a good price.

Meanwhile, this evening I found a screaming deal on a new stainless 4" GP100 and it followed me home... :eek:
