Grips - checkered or smooth?

I tend to prefer Sssmmmoooth myself.
The checkering usually is a little rough on the hands if you're shooting a lot.
Also, if using a exotic wood with nice grain on a grip, it usually takes away from the beauty of the natural grain if you checker the grip.
I'm goin' with Sssmmmoooth.:D

I don't like sharp or deep checkering. With a heavily recoiling revolver this actually abrades and chafes my hands, and I don't have soft hands. Between dull checkering and smooth (but not slippery) I have no real preference.

I prefer checkered on DA revolvers and smooth on SA revolvers. I sometimes wear fingerless gloves, a carry over from my black powder shooting. Use what you are comfortable with, it's shouldn't be a fashion statement.
