Hello there, I'm new here and I would like to see if anyone has any suggestions for rubber grips for small hands. I have a Kimber stainless target match II .45 and I have looked and looked to no avail for small grips that are decent. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

I think your best option is probably to get a set of thin grips. In fact , not only is that your best bet, but I cant think of anything else you could do. There are various grip makers to buy from , but here's a page that shows some detail of the difference in shape.

Ahrends makes a thin grip, specifically designed with small hands in mind. In general they as a grip maker come very highly recommended. I'd go with them if I were you. I and many other THR members can attest to the quality of their work at very reasonable prices.

Oh, and by the way, welcome to THR :)

EDIT: After writing that, I re-read your post and saw that I had neglected to notice that you had specified rubber for the grip material. I'm not aware of any thin rubber grips, but I'll keep an eye out.

I looked into it a little. The Pearce rubber side panels that are intended for compatibility with finger groove grip product claim to be of a 'slim fit', and can be used independently. You know what , better to just give you the link then try to explain it.. hehe

I have no experience with them , but my guess would be that they are slightly slimmer than other standard rubber grip panels since they are intended to keep a standard grip size with a layer of rubber under them (holding on the grooved panel). Without having tried them personally I can't say how big the difference might be , but they are pretty affordable at under $15. Might be worth a shot.
