Grizzly Ammo .357 mag 180 gr WFNGC

My largest caliber handgun is .357 mag. 686 with 2.5 in bbl. Wanted a round to carry in black bear country while fishing. I talked to Mike at Grizzly, and he offered me the above round. Anyone have any experience with this load? I tried BB's version and the rounds recoiled back towards the recoil shield and somehow tied up my cylinder. Mike said the Grizzly ammo won't do that. I ordered a box. Hope he is right.

Mike is not telling a lie, that is very good ammo. I have never shot that load in a 2.5" M686 but I did from a 4" M686.

I now reload the same ammo using the same bullet from Cast Performance, their sister company.

Just be aware, that is a stout load and it might be difficult to control is a smaller revolver.
