I don't have it for 10 days BUT:
I saw a bright shiny Model 1934 Mauser 7.65 for $200 in a store. I first asked why it was only $200 and the owner said it was 'obviously reblued'. I asked to see it and I just could not believe the quality of the shiny blue and how the markings were deep and crisp LIKE NEW ! It had 'droop eagle' proofs and was marked "Germany" next to the Obendorf address. The stocks looked new. Everthing looked new with a little strw behind the levers ect. I said OK I'll take it (to round out my German collection) and the sales guy brought out an old brown carboard box with a mauser coat of arms embossed on it and an Abecrombie and Fitch tattered sticker on the end . Inside in a carboard partition was another mag zine and a little booklet in English describing in about 20 pages everything I need to know about the guns history, performance operation and maintenence. But below that was a folded paper which when it's ancient creases were unfolded proved to be a factory test target (one big hole ) at 10 M signed Klaus something and dated 13 may 37 !!!
I think this is a brand new in box 1934 Commercial Mauser pistol. Photos to follow!
