Yes but handguns cannot be mailed by a non-licensee, nor can individuals receive firearms directly through interstate shipments. Unless that firearm already belongs to the one receiving it.

FedEx and UPS cost two to four times as much as Priority Mail.
 
First off, if the USPS loses your parcel, even if it is insured, too bad. If you ever read the fine print, they only pay off if you have the packaging and part of the goods. It is for damage alone...not lost parcels. I verified this policy with a Postal Inspector. UPS or Fedex will pay off on insured lost parcels.

That is correct XD... we don't know if you put gravel in a box and claim it to be a diamond. We need something to prove the claim.
 
Maybe so but USPS is very, very commonly used by dealers for shipments. Especially for handguns, to avoid the exorbitant overnight fees required by
UPS and FedEx.
 
I have shipped items using duct tape and notebook paper for the address. I have done it on several occassions actually. It has been a few years since I have done this. I am more professional now, but I have done it with no problem
