Gun Belt Suggestions?

So the last thing I'm looking for before I start legally CC'ing is a good gun belt. My current ED leather has been worn out for a bit.

I'll be honest I'm strongly looking at Bigfoot Gunbelts mainly because of their "steel core". I need something that not only supports my CC and accessories but can carry the weight of a few tools when at work. I won't be carrying while on jobsites but the tools are probably heavier than the carry gear.


Any experience with Bigfoot or any other "substantial" brand would be greatly appreciated.

I'm unfamiliar with Bigfoot belts. I wear an Aker B21 or a DeSantis Econobelt. The former is ~6 years old and the latter ~3. Both have held up well.

ETA: Now that I've looked at Bigfoot, they've got my attention!

I wear a dickies work belt from wal mart. Cheap, stout enough to hold a G19 + 1 extra mag.

Alien Gear has good ones. Steel inside a double layer of nice leather. Roller buckle, five holes for fitment. Now they have 'tinted/colored' buckles as well.

Looking at the Big Foot Belts, they seem to be the exact same as the AG, right down to manufacture location and price. How convenient.

The Belt Man .

I have a Rafters S Shark belt that is excellent and if they wouldn't have went down the tubes , I would buy the same . The shark skin has held up like new , I guess over 5 years now .

I have and really like things from Wilderness and Beltman. You have options with Wilderness for a stiffener in it if you like.

Magpul are making belts now also but I can't speak to those yet.

A good belt is a must in my mind.

First place I would look is The Beltman. I also have a DeSantis 1 1/2" plain lined belt that has held up very well.

Here's a plug for Lenwood Leather. After wearing out a few Galco gun belts, I found a Lenwood on sale at Midway, and haven't looked back.

I was turned on to the Aker B21 several years ago....I have used it for IWB and am totally satisfied.
