Gun Case for 8 3/8 inch barreled revolver

Hi everyone,

I'll be purchasing a N frame revolver with an 8 3/8 inch barrel soon. Trouble is I can't find a case it'll fit into.

I'm not looking for a long term storage case, just one for range trips so I don't have to risk the wooden box getting damaged.

I use a plano single pistol case for my smaller revolvers, but I can't find one made by Plano that the gun will fit into.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a case in the proper size?

I use a safe for gun storage but, if I were to use a case, I'd use a Pelican.

Sorry, I must not have been clear. I won't be storing the gun in the case, it's just a way to get the gun to the range so I don't have to risk damaging the wooden box the gun comes with.

Oops, I completely misread the initial post; mea culpa. Google "large pistol rug" and you'll come up with all kinds of options from $8 (Uncle Mike's) to the sky's the limit. Pretty much any of them around 15" or larger will work.
