So, for Easter I received a new piece. Now, I normally don't care much for polymer and plastic--I just prefer the heft of a steel frame, but I wouldn't say no to one, and I've thought about getting a USP--but I can definitely attest to the light weight here. You could easily carry this sucker all day and never even notice. It's two-tone, too, for those of you who like such things.

Single-stack internal magazine, capacity of 12. No safety, manual or otherwise--and I rather prefer a manual safety. The profile is extremely slim and would be eminently concealable, although I imagine a holster might be a little hard to find--the shape is rather unique. It's basically similar to a slide-pull single action, which is interesting, and I don't imagine that you folks see too many of these. I certainly wouldn't use it in any sort of combat situation due to that and the fact that it's loaded for a rather light 9x17mm--or something awfully close to that, there's no headstamp on the ammo or on it at all. I'm guessing it was a custom job, perhaps? I can purchase additional ammo for dirt-cheap from the same place it was bought from, though.

I don't mean to perpetuate any 9mm/.45ACP debates here, but I really think that the stopping power is probably rather inadequate. You'll probably need to empty the entire magazine into whatever you're shooting at to even make it flinch. Seriously, the thing has no range--the ammo is what I'd call sub-subsonic--and the drop you'll see over even 5 yards is abysmal. It's a short-range, last-resort tool.

So, here we go:

Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Very slim
  • Checkered grips
  • High-capacity
  • Easily concealed
  • Stylin' two-tone design
Cons:
  • Construction is kinda shoddy and seems prone to possible breakage
  • The action type is weird, can't work it too fast
  • No safety, manual or otherwise
  • Internal magazine, no quick reloads
  • Magazine spring isn't impressive, I had two FTFs already
  • No good for self-defense, loadout just seems too weak
Oh, yes, and it's also made by the Pez Company. ;-P

Ahahaha-

You had to go start up a Grape vs. orange debate.

It's all about the shot placement.

With that piece, you really really have to aim for the base of the brain, and with someone facing you, that would be directly at the mouth.

You didn't point that thing at yourself did you? Tell me you didn't. ;)

OK...don't laugh...But I was thinking of a new type of magazine designed like a Pez despenser. Pull up on the internal sheath, slip rounds in, let go. Magazine snaps back together.
