Hello i am fairly new in the firearms world but i own a pretty good amount of guns. However i want to know how to understand guns more. Things such as what makes a gun good or bad, or just different designs in different guns. Is there a guide or something that may help me out?

Go the your local library.
Get the book "The Art of the Rifle" by Jeff Cooper.
Read it.

That'll give you a pretty good start. Its widely regarded as the classic textbook for firearms 101. That way you'll start off with the facts from a real expert rather than a bunch of opinionated BS from Internet 'experts'.
