I read a lot of left wing and right wing news services. If you look at Digg:

http://www.digg.com/politics/OFFICIAL_Barack_Obama_announces_run_for_White_House

Look at how many diggs that article got! Look at the number of responses. And it seems like there are several Obama threads a day.

The pro-Obama threads are getting a TON of action. People seem to be very excited about Obama. I'm not talking about just lefties. I'm talking about people on the left and some on the right. This is very different than the John Kerry "anybody but Bush". McCain is nowhere to be seen.

Obama does not think you should have the right to semi'-autos or even defend yourself in your own home. It's obviously too early to tell but I'm going to be donating some money to pro-RKBA groups. I mean McCain is our best chance at protecting our freedoms and even he is sort of an anti.

Hear hear! The media is hyping him up so much that the average American person will vote for him without knowing his stances. The 2008 election has almost no one good on the ballot in either party. . .

If Richardson plays, he will get my vote.....a Democrat that acts like a libertarian (or the closest thing to it).

I disagree. Check out Ron Paul (Libertarian running as a Republican). He sticks to the Constitution above all else. I can't think of a better man for the job.

If obama (communist piece of poo-poo) would get elected and he would send law agencies out to consfiscate our weapons what could we do about it? I say now is the time to start stock piling if you haven't started already!

I looked more into Ron Paul, and I will say I am impress with how he voted in Congress. He voted based on the Constitution, and he seems damn proud of it. I will make sure to vote for him in the primary, and then in the general election.

Right now, I feel the same way.

If the Democrats don't do anything stupid between now and 2008, and Richardson happens to end up with the Democratic nomination, I would probably vote for him too.
