Gun parts in DFW?

I need a 1911 trigger. I can't find a place that carries small parts like that. I know I could order online and all that, but I'd like to avoid "the wait". Any one know of a store that would carry such things? Preferably in Irving or the surrounding areas? Otherwise I'll have to order it and wait

I bought a few small 1911 parts recently at SMR Firearms near Hurst. Friendly dude.

241 West Bedford Euless Rd, Hurst (south of 183) - the store is at 90 degrees to the road in a small strip-mall, so drive slowly

You could also try Euless Guns & Ammo, 1200 Euless Blvd., Euless, TX 76040. The number is 817-267-6947. Ask for Todd. He may or may not have the part, but I know that he does a lot of gunsmithing and he does work on 1911s.

Try Lee's in Irving. He has more gun parts than any place I've ever been to. He's south of 183 off of Beltline Rd. But he's only open like Wed-Sat. or something wierd like that. My Dad bought a Revelation Shotgun back in the late 60's early 70's and shot a squib load that bulged the barrel. When he passed in 96 I inherited the gun and finally got it from my Brother about 2-3 years later. Looked all aver DFW for a barrel for the shotgun and when I got to Lee's he had the whole gun except for the stock.

For packaged parts, Gunmaster in Plano has a good selection of 1911 and AR bits.

For odd parts for all sorts of firearms, Lees is tops.
