Somewhere I saw specs for taking photos of guns using a lightbox. I tried the search feature but couldn't find anything.

I'm actually looking for the types of lights they used, and what kind of material they were draping over the pvc frame.

thanx

You can use many different materials. The goal is to scatter the light so that it gets through the material, but doesn't reflect harshly off of your guns.

Thin material such as bed sheeting works just fine.

I built the light box that SharpByCoop has posted all over. It's white posterboard with a white garbage bag stretched over it. Then 1 1/4" PVC with 3 5" clamp-on lights from Home Depot and 75W Daylight bulbs.

You may have to register to read that but it's worth it. With the lightbox I use a tripod and the timer on my camera, works great!
