Gun Purchase

Question:

When you live in one state and are going to sell a Gun to a Person in another state, do you send it to the FFL dealer yourself or do you have to have a Dealer in your state send it for you?

Heard several ways, but want to stick by the law.

Its best going from a sending FFL dealer to a receiving FFL dealer. That
is called vicarious liability and shifts the hazards from you to the
dealer.

Depends on the recieving FFL. Seems that more and more want it coming from an FFL. Contact the FFL it's going to and ask.

I've found it works easiest (not the cheapest) to have my local FFL ship it out. YMMV
