Does anyone know if a gun range has to be licensed by any part of the federal government (EPA, ATF etc)? A local range went under with no explanation or notice. The building wasn't owned by the range operator. I renewed a month ago (for a year), and went by last week to find that the building was being gutted. It was posted "no trespassing by order of owner", so it could have been a lease type of thing, but I wanted to check to see if maybe they got hit by a government problem. Thanks for any tips, etc. Also posted at 1911forum.
