gun safe performance

I was wondering how many of you have experienced a burgulary or fire at home, and if so, did your safe protect your firearms?

What type of safe was it? Not necessarily the brand, but the construction and locking mechanisms.

Was it fastened to walls or floor?

I'm curious to know what protection the moderate to upper price range of safe gives.

Which make(s), model(s), and price range are you looking at?

I have an AMSEC BF series gun safe. I love the safe, but am not expecting miracles in an all out house fire. Matter of fact, I am keeping any spare cash, and some of my other valuables in a fire box inside the gun safe for added protection.

That doesn't really answer your question, but from what I understand, to get high end fire protection, you need to buy a high end (high dollar) safe.
