GUN SAFES?

Just a question here but does anybody know how to change the combination on a Sentry Safe, fire safe gun safe with the rotary style combination. The combination came factory set and I was wanting to change it if it were possible. Any guidence would be apprecciated. Thank you.

Having said that: If it is not in the owners manual, I would believe it would be one of those things that if you tried to do it yourself, you may need a locksmith to ever see your collection again

Read your manual. I can't speak for Sentry, but most safe warranties are voided when having the combination changed by anybody other than a locksmith.

Electronic locks are an exception to this issue.

Well, I don't know what you would do, but I would open up the compartment and put in a new battery when I realized what I had done.

off the subject, but how do you like your sentry safe? I was just a home depot and they have theres on sale.

I have the largest Sentry from Lowes,for the price it seems very safe and secure.For under a grand it was my best option.
You don't loose the combination when your battery dies.
Being as heavy as it is and being bolted to the wall and floor and loaded it would be very hard to move.
Get one!

I like my sentry safe very much and it was avery good price for being a 14 gun safe, but I will be honest it was a b**ch getting up the stairs to my apartment by my self

Mine is not a Sentry, but my warranty will be voided it the combo is changed by anyone other than a FACTORY AUTHORIZED locksmith.
