I've known for years about cell phone area codes. But as I said, "Ya gotta start somewhere." Ask a guy for the phone number where he works, e.g.; I don't think I've seen a business that's cell-only. Even if he, himself, doesn't answer the phone, you can find out if he works there and/or its location. And the name of the business allows a look-up via Google for its location.

Enuf. Since the deal won't go down, it's padlock time. :D

I solved any problems by sellilng any firearms I was disposing of through my FFL guy on consignment. No meetings with buyers and all that goes along with it. He charges me 15% which is added in on pricing the items. No sweat, I take it to him, we determine a price, any offer lower he calls me, when it sells I get a check in the mail. I also know the firearm is going to a buyer who has been thru the instant check system.

If you must meet, meet at a public place; preferably a range.
