I'll be in Myrtle Beach next week and while I'm there I'd like to check out a gun shop or two. Is there anyone on THR that can recommend a few good gun shops? Also, one with an indoor range would be nice too. Thanks.

Been to MBISR many times. Used to compete in the local matches. Purchased many guns & ammo there over the years. Civil War Museum next door is a plus.

Ted was the owner back then & is a hell of a guy.

Same guy. He and his brother are big civil war buffs. Rod has written a few books and is (or was) a regular contributor to several mags. Good guys, both.

I think Coastal Sports is gone now. I occasionally shoot at Ted's, nice place, especially after they remodeled.

I like Ted's too, nice range, generally helpfull folks. The 707 store seemed to have better prices on boomsticks last time I was there. Enjoy your stay!
