Definately a big thumbs up to Adventure Outdoors. I have done alot of business there and have been very happy with them. They have a great selection too! To my knowledge, they are the biggest gunstore in the ATL area.
The Glock factory used to sell parts and magazines to anyone coming in off the street. However, the last time I went over there to buy some extra magazine springs, they told me they only sell now through retail outlets. Of course, a spring that sold for $1.85 at the Glock factory now costs around $5 from an internet dealer.
Adventure Outdoors definitely has the largest selection of guns of any shop I have found in metro Atlanta, and their prices are usually lower than most. In particular they get a lot of police trade ins and used guns that they sell for very good prices. I bought a used Glock 17 and a used S&W 4006 from them last year - both at the lowest prices I had seen on those guns.
You can still find guns a bit cheaper at the gun shows around town. Earlier this year I bought a Kel Tec P32 for $219 at a gun show at the Atlanta Farmers' Market. I had previously checked several gun shops and the lowest price at any of them was $249.
You've also got Nicks Gun & Tackle, C3 Sports Armory (not much stock), and HotShots. Adventure Outdoors has the best stock and largest selection by far.
