Just went to the gun show yesterday, and I only walked out with 8 boxes of 5.56 x 45 ammo for my AR. I do have self control!
But my wife left with a Walther PPK/S... is this 'cause for worry? Should I call Gun Loving Wifes Annonymous ?
Or should I just be happy that I went and got a Ruger 96/44M for $200 at the Ruger Sale to make up for my difficiency?!
Does anyone actually buy the beef jerky? $1 dollar a strip smaller than the $1 I am paying, no thanks... this show was much bigger than the fairgrounds one I have been too, but more pins, popcorn, coins, and jewelery, among other non gun related stuff. Though there were plenty of gun items I wanted, I couldn't decided which to get while I was there, so that's why I got the Ruger at the shop on the way home. That, and being up for 20 hours straight was catching up to me.
So yeah, I am blabbering, but wanted to let everyone know what a beyond the norm wife I picked up, though the first thing she said after she got the Walther was, "When are you going to get the dies to reload for it?" I think I need to show her how to reload, maybe she can enjoy it as I do too, at least, when I am not being assigned to my bench.
Hope you other Tucsonans went and found something you wanted! Saiga 7.62x39 was calling my name for $199, or the Springfield Mil-Spec 1911 for $374, too bad I only saw two Dan Wessons though.
