Gun show "mania"

I tried to go to a gun show yesterday. what a joke. i got there 20 minutes after it opened and there was a line at least 300' long of people waiting to get in. i decided to go get some breakfast and wait for the line to come down a little. i went back about an hour later, and the line was even longer. the parking lot was FULL, which i have never seen before. and i asked some of the people at the middle of the line how long they had been waiting. they said they had been there about 45 minutes. but the place was AT CAPACITY, and they were not letting any more people in until someone left. at that point, i went to see a freind, and went back about 1&1/2 hours later. it was pretty much the same thing. at that point, i just said the h*ll with this, and went to a couple of gun shops. i think that there are MANY people that are afraid of what is coming. and want to get their hands on whatever they can.

Gun shows

They are doing a land office business, I think it's great that their are more gun's out there, I have noticed a few people need to get some training on which end the round comes out of,a lot of them have no clue as to what they are buying or how to use them.. makes you wonder................ hounder

There's a big one coming up here. I'm actually dreading it a little. I'm planning to have a local dealer sell some of my guns at stupid prices. Hey, if he's willing, and if somebody wants it that dang bad.

I was at one last December just prior to Christmas. It was well attended, but there was plenty of stock -- I bought a Glock 19 and a Taurus C45 Thunderbolt repeating rifle.

Gun show mania upstate ny

Three Sundays ago I went to Middletown, NY show and same thing....not a line that bad but it was solid people inside. No bargains for anything I was interested in. Prices are higher for used stuff than the knowledgeable would pay. Ammo available but prices make reloading seem a bargain.Best priced reloading gear was from a Pa. outfit named T & T. They had primers and powder a prices not bad considering no hazmat fee.afish4570

Mania is right!
I went to the gun show last weekend, or should I say, I got in line.
15 minutes after opening, the line was really long (100 yards at least). After 15 minutes of this line barely moving I decided "The h*!! with it". I went to the gun dealer and bought an extra mag for my Glock, looked around for a while and saved the 7 dollars it would have cost to get in the gun show. I guess I got that G22 magazine on sale then.
