Gun show purchases on Day 1...success!

Well I finally bought my first Glock 17, Generation 4. I'm happy to have it in my little collection. I also picked up 300 rounds (100 Magtech, 100 PMC, and 100 Hornady Critical Duty), 100 Montana Gold 180g HP's to load for my Glock 29, a big bag of walnut media, two factory magazines for the new G17, an RCBS shell holder for loading .30 Carbine, and a small bag of teriyaki beef jerky. A great day, and I'll head out this morning for Day 2 to try to lock down the last few items on this weekend's wish list: Sig 229 magazines, Kimber magazines for my Raptor Ultra II, and a casting thermometer. I'm having a great time.

I did pretty good on day 1 as well; I scored an 8 lb keg of Varget and a loader for AR15 30 round magazines.

I am not at all related to the guy and it has been a few years since I bought 6 of the 20 round MecGar's for my Berettas, but for the magazines try googling "Greg Kote, LLC" (I think that is how it is spelled).

I'm not quite sure what you want by "Casting thermometer" buy I use a pistol type remote reading one with a laser pointer that a got a number of years ago for $70 from Harbor Freight. The last flyer I got, I think the price was down to $20 or $30. It's worked great for me.
