Gun Show Questions

I was thinking about going to the Ron Dickson "National Gun Day" gun show in Louisville in 2 weeks, it about a 2 hour drive and I was wondering if anyone has been and if it worth my time. Is it really the largest in the midwest/world/etc.

Also as an Ohio resident can I legally buy a handgun in KY?

You can buy a handgun at a gunshow in KY but it has to be sent to an FFL in Ohio by the seller. Once it reaches your FFL in Ohio you can have it transferred over to you as the buyer.

As far as the show is concerned, I have personally not had any experience with them. Sorry.

Ron's National Gun Day is well worth the trip. I was an exihibor at his vey first show, was at most of them in Louisville and Lexington for many years and I still miss them. I always enjiyed dealing with Ron even though his TV commercials are the epitome of poor gun handling.

Also the Kentuckiana Arms Collectors put on a great show. At least they used to. I haven't been to one in about eight years now since I have moved. I was a member of KACA for 20+ years. They used to put on four show a year. Hopefully they still do.
