Here's a question concerning a gun show scenario:

Taking a Springfield XD (compact series) duo tone .45 that has the standard 10 and 13 rd mags, speed loader, belt holster, belt mag holder, brush in it's case with all manuals. The weapon has 25 rounds through it and thoroughly cleaned with no dents, dings, scratches. Then I'm in the market for a S&W Model 60 4" OR model 620 or 686. What would be a reasonable expectation for price concerning the XD if I find myself in a sell only situation? What would be a reasonable expectation in a trade/buy situation?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I would say that if you are selling to an individual, plan to get ~$500 for it (assuming you paid ~$550 new). If you are selling to a dealer/gun shop, it will be a lot lower than that.

Check gunbroker. It's a good starting point for a market value of your gun. Now assuming the gun is pristine as described and depending on your area, you may get 500. I doubt it though. The other thing is at a gun show someone will have to be looking for that particular gun. If not it will need to be such a good deal that people won't want to let it get away. Good luck. I've sold a few guns at gun shows. It's always an interesting experience.
