Gun show was fair priced?!

Went to a gun show today, I saw some decent prices! Mosin Nagants so many I never seen so many, only $130 or less! saiga 12g $450! saiga 410 $330! saiga 7.62x39mm 290!!!!! and a SKS ex condition $280! Is that a good price!? I almost bought it.

I would love to have a Mosin, and at $130 I would have picked it up.

Wish they had those prices around here. I'd like a Mosin and $130 seems fair. You see them all the time in magazines, but you have no other fees involved at a show. Probably comes out to about the same. I'm not sure about the SKS. I've not seen any around here any cheaper though.

That's expensive for a Mosin. I picked one up from AIMsurplus for $80 + shipping last week.

My local shop has a flood of Mosin 91/30s for $100 and most of them are ex snipers from the hole plugs I see inside them.

I just bought a 91/30 for $75 bucks at Dunhams a few weeks ago. They have been on sale hovering between $90 and $75. There were a few junkers there, but most of them were in good condition with no "sewer pipe" bores. My M38 on the other hand, I paid $190 for, but it was in perfect condition. Both my Mosins were impulse buys, and I'm the indecisive, meticulous planning type, so that's odd for me to have done that. As I was in the parking lot getting ready to put the gun in my trunk, I was thinking about how long I've had my other Mosin, an M38, when I realized that I bought it a year ago that same day.


If you want an inexpensive Mosin, check your local Dunhams if you have one.

Cabelas sales circular this week has Mosin's listed at $99 : limited quantities available. Now if they'd just bring back the Swiss at a decent price.
