Having returned from the local gun show, I noticed SASS had their booth there again. Showing their competition sport to the patrons of the show. I've never seen a booth representing the other shooting sports, i.e., USPSA and IDPA. Seems like a nice place to advertise and bring in future shooters/members. Has anyone ever seen those sports represented at a gun show?

Only in an indirect mannor.........A couple of local gun clubs set up booths but they, as a "side act" have IDPA or SASS advertisements because the individual clubs sponser those sports.

We did a couple years ago for our USPSA club. I don't know that it helped increase turnout at our monthly matches though... Spending an entire weekend working a table to maybe get 1 or 2 new shooters isn't worth it to me.

I'd rather spend that weekend time doing a new shooter clinic for people that are already interested.

I've seen tables for IDPA and such no SASS tables yet. I wish they would have more of those and less tables of cheap chinese imitation swords and beef jerky.
