Gun Specific Ammo Thread in One Location

Hey guys...

Maybe we can all post our favorite self-defense rounds for our specific firearms. That way, others don't have to wade through so many different brands in order to find out which brand of ammo works best for their specific firearms.

I realize that the type of ammo may depend on that one particular firearm (not just the specific make and model).....but, it may help others get started in the right direction.

Also, if you have a "which ammo should I use" question, place it here.


Ok... I'll start:

1. For my LCP..... PMC's standard ball round works best...100% of the time. I am choosing FMJ since its is such a small round (.380).

2. Question: Any ideas on which works best for Kahr PM9?

PMC has worked in everything .380 that I have (ball and hp)

Remington Golden Sabers have a reputation for reliable feeding in a wide variety of firearms.

You'd expect any particular hollowpoint to malfunction in some guns... Most do, but not that I've seen (or heard of) with the GS.

I don't know why. I have read some definitive theories on the subject but as far as I am concerned there's got to be some kind of magic involved
