Anyone know a website or way to get a value of a firearm?

Got an uncle with a glenfield mod. 20 chamber 22 s-l-lr and wanted to see what it's worth.

Library might have it or near a major book store , you browse it.

Blue Book of Gun Values.

An older issue of this source rates the value of your rifle to be between $40.00 to $70.00 (depending on condition). It might simply come down to the usual rational: anything is worth whatever somebody is willing to sell for and the other party is willing to pay. In good condition, if I were you (or your uncle, as the case may be), I wouldn't take anything less than a hundred bucks or so.

Gun values are VERY subjective right now. With the current political climate being what it is, used guns just seem to have lost quite a bit of value. Don't tell this to the vendors at gun shows, they think their guns are worth at least $100 more than new. I do believe that they still think Obama is President.

Remember, used guns are only worth what someone else is willing to pay for them.
