Last night and this morning when I log onto GB, I get a questionaire asking me for all types of personal information. Besides requesting credit card infomation, it's asking me for my ssn, mother's maiden name, age, and DOB etc. It's possible I've been scammed somehow. Will not allow me at access site and I've been using GB for 5 or 6 years.

You have some type of trojan/malware in your computer doing a browser redirect. You will probably see that page as well when you try logging in to a major banking site and some others.
You gotta check out your system thoroughly with a REPUTABLE anti spyware and antivirus.
Whatever you do, DO NOT put in any information on that screen. That is most definitely NOT Gunbroker.

yes, sounds like an unauthorized re-direct/phishing..
like others stated , do a scan for malware immediately

edit: ironically if you go searching for a virus scan tool, many of them plant malware on your computer. FYI my favorite free scan is *MalwareBytes' Anti Malware (hate the anti part) LOL

I logged in and it looks fine. As others have noted, you may have picked up some malware.

Yea, I love those. They scan and indeed will tell you that you're in a world of hurt and they'll fix you right up!.. right after you put in your credit card numbers and charge you the $29.99.
Uh, no.

Are you trying to sell? I've stopped selling there because they want me to give them all sorts of mortgage and other financial info in order to be "verified". Yea, that ain't gonna happen.

Uh, no.
As others have suggested, use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to clean your system. I will also suggest using CCleaner to clear all of your temporary files and internet history. Both are free & well respected programs. No, they do not try to charge you after running. You can get them both at download.com, the cnet site. Just run the program with the defaults and you will be fine. I have been using both for years to keep my PCs clean. Good luck.

Copy that. Thank you.

AVG free is a good free anti-virus. I've been using it for years on several computers and definitely approve of it. That is if you need one.

Browser Hijack

I you have a hijacker on your computer, it is operating at a lower level than your browser. You could switch browsers and the problem would not go away.

Further, the hijacker code is self-defending and will often either block access to antivirus and malware tools or substitute a fake site and let you download more evil stuff pretending to be the "fix" for what ails you.

If you can, get a malware fixer on a flash drive or CD and install from the media locally rather than downloading it.

(This is starting to look more like a tech support thread, so I may move it there.)

Download Ubuntu (Linux is not just for geeks anymore as the UI/GUI is almost MAC/Win like) and run it in say a Sun, or shall I now say Oracle, VirtualBox which means you won't have to wipe your drive and get rid of Windows. At the very least I would use a browser like Chrome and avoid IE as it is always targeted.

Happy shooting!

-Cheers
