I'm trying to place a bid at the moment but it won't go through to the website, could someone go there to tall me if its working for them, if it is I need to see whats goin on with my computer, I need to bid on this gun....

Same here...as of some hours ago, seems like GB went off-line.

I imagine this will see some annoyed Sellers, whose Auctions did not get the benifit of final Bids...and prospective buyers, prevented from bidding before auction for items of interest, closed.

it may just be sight maintainance in which case the count down till the end of the auction should pick up where it left off when the server went off line.

I'm just glad its not my computer acting up again, thanks everyone.

It happens sometimes. GB has an extensive network set up and like any computer system it goes down sometimes. I have noticed that the outage can sometimes be regional, meaning folks in one state can access the site while those in other states cannot. I'm sure they are working to correct the problem.

Do we really need to post these threads every time one site or another goes down? Is an Internet site being temporarily offline really big news?

the auction I'm bidding on is over in less then an hour, it could pose a small problem :uhoh:

but the site is still up for some parts of the country, oh well if I don't win I'll just have to wait for the next one.

they had a banner yesterday saying that at midnight they were doing some upgrades to the system

Whew! I just found this thread. I am also worried about bad feedback as a buyer because I have bids on auctions that should be over by now.

RO- But can WE do anything from here to solve the problem?

PS: I still can't access GB.

no we can't, if by that you mean why post it here I did so just to determine that it was gun broker and not my computer so that I could act appropriately (fix my computer before the auction ended)
